. . . and squeeze you, pet you and love you, and I will call you George and we will be together forever and ever and ever. I will follow you everywhere . . . you will never ever be free of me. Won't that be fun?
Yes, clown art, as if the world wasn't a creepy enough place as it is.
Saw your address posted on the Rachelle Gardner site--I rarely go there so it was a fluke I guess. Your blog name immediately attracted me since I am a fan of clown art and figurines and clowns in concept, but not necessarily real clowns, who are sometimes rather weird and perverse. In all fairness, I have known some pretty nice clowns in my life and have a few good friends who are clowns. You have some really cool clown art photos so I'm going to have to keep checking out your site.
@Marjorie - thank you! A perfect cherry on top of a Sunday off of work.
@Lee - I do not disagree with you. There is some fine circus art out there. That's what makes the bad stuff all the more bad! I feel about "clown wrecks" the way Jen feels about "cake wrecks," they are just wrong!
An almost daily delivery of creepy, bizarre, and otherwise unacceptable clown figures, art, dolls, and whatever else bothers me . . .
Coulrophobia is an irrational fear of clowns. However, I am not a sufferer, because there is nothing irrational about my fear of clowns. It is time to expose their evil and have a laugh or two at their expense.
Remember, we are laughing at them, not with them, or because of them. Be ever vigilant, clowns are sneaky.
Help the cause! Have you come across an unintentionally sad, creepy, spooky, or otherwise obnoxious bit of clownery? Click on my profile and drop me an email. Help spread the message.
Coulrophobes of the world unite!
Note: Photos come from my own collection, my own photography, and from surfing around the web. If you see a photo you believe is yours and are unhappy or offended, please contact me and I will remove it. Unless, of course, you are a clown. Then we have a problem . . .
Congrats on winning the writing contest at jetreid!
