Then there is this promo piece for the Tanner Bank . . .



I've never heard of Tanner Bank. Looking at it's advertising campaign, I know why!

    hi the clown is not advertising any bank, a tanner is a slang name given to an old British coin (6d was the coin) so this bank was for saving your "tanners" in.
